It combines the experience of Tobie Wiese with the new age thinking of Trevor Ncalo to provide our clients with solutions that are both sound and cutting edge. Tobie has managed large-scale projects like the Beitbridge Border Post Modernisation and led mergers and acquisitions, including the sale of B&E International to Raubex Group Ltd. He has held senior leadership roles and possesses expertise in civil engineering design and supervision. Trevor excels in PPP and infrastructure finance advisory, managing complex construction projects, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. His business administration skills are supported by a Post-Graduate Diploma and an MBA from an international Business School. Mr Tobias Wiese is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience
in project management, mergers and acquisitions, and leadership roles across
various engineering and construction companies. His career spans over four
decades, marked by significant contributions to major infrastructure projects
and corporate leadership.
Tobias Wiese holds an Hons B.Eng (Civil) from Stellenbosch
University, obtained in 1974. He has been a registered Professional Engineer
since 1978. He is a member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers
and a fellow of the Institute of Quarries. Additionally, he serves as a
director of ASPASA.
Since January 2019, Tobias has been the owner and director
of Rockstar Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd. In this role, he has worked as a
consultant in project management, notably serving as the employer's
representative for Andalusia Investments Private Limited on the Beitbridge
Border Post Modernisation Project, a Public Private Partnership (PPP) valued at
USD 200 million. This project is one of the most successful PPP border post
projects on the African continent. He also provides consultancy services in mergers
and acquisitions.
From 2008 to June 2018, Tobias was the managing director of
the Raumix Division at Raubex Group Ltd, overseeing a division with a turnover
of R4.0 billion and 4000 employees. He was also an executive committee member
of Raubex Group Ltd. Tobias retired in June 2018 after a distinguished 43-year
career in the industry.
Between 1992 and 2008, Tobias served as the managing
director and shareholder of B&E International (Pty) Ltd, a company he sold
to Raubex Group Ltd in 2008. From 1982 to 1992, Tobias held various roles at LTA
Construction (Pty) Ltd, including site agent/manager, project manager, project
director, general manager, and managing director and executive committee
member.

Mr Trevor Ncalo is a seasoned expert in Construction Project Management, Infrastructure Finance Advisory, and General Management, with a proven track record of leadership and excellence. His career is marked by his ambition, drive, and exceptional leadership skills, demonstrated through his successful management of complex projects, delivery of high-quality results, and strong client and stakeholder relationships. Trevor is committed to continuous learning and professional development.
Trevor began his career in 2009 at Genrec Engineering, a structural steel fabricator, where he honed his technical skills in the design, fabrication, and installation of structural steel. During this time, he also completed his B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering. In 2013, he joined BEAL Engineering and Project Management Consulting, expanding his expertise in Construction Quality Management while working on projects at the Kusile Power Station. He earned his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management: Business Administration from Wits Business School in 2014.
In 2015, Trevor became a Project Manager at Mott MacDonald/MPAMOT, successfully delivering multiple projects across various sectors. He furthered his education with an MSc degree in Construction Project Management from Wits University in 2017. In his recent role as an Infrastructure Finance Advisor, Trevor has worked on Public Private Partnership and advisory projects, providing technical advisory services to clients and stakeholders. He completed his MBA degree with Henley Business School Africa, with distinction. The focus of his dissertation further highlights his passion for leadership and Africa.
Trevor is a passionate and visionary leader, consistently striving for excellence. He has demonstrated his leadership in various roles, including leading teams, managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and engaging with senior executives. Trevor is always eager to embrace new challenges and contribute to the development of the engineering profession and society at large.
